One song per line, matched against the library. Paste thirty titles, get thirty songs.
Write your own tune, a fiddle breakdown or a song with words. Drop chords right over the lyrics, or build a chord chart. What you make is what prints in your songbook and travels in a share link.
Tap a word to drop a chord above it; tap a chord to change or remove it. Type or paste the words first in “Edit words as text.”
Stanzas separated by a blank line; label one with [Chorus] on its own line. Chords inline like [G]word, or just type the words and drop chords on the other tab.
Bars separated by |, two chords in one bar separated by a space (G D). One part per line: Name x2: G|C|G|D. Applying replaces the blocks above.
Paste a ChordPro chart ({title: …}, lyrics with [G] chords inline). You get both: a chart (one bar per chord) and a chords-over-lyrics view. Rough but a good head start; tidy the bars after.
Stanzas separated by a blank line; label a stanza with [Chorus] on its own line. Add chords inline like [G]word. Saved on this device and in your exports.
Preview shows the pages in reading order. The print comes out as A4 landscape sheets ready to fold and staple.
Preview is free (watermarked). Make it once with a credit. Then it's saved to My songbooks and you can print it as often as you like. Tip: choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog for a shareable file.
Shows on screen and prints under the title in books and on the gig card.

Your songs as a tidy chord-chart book. Print a stack for your next jam or workshop, or sell them at the merch table at your gig.
What is this? A living chord book for the bluegrass jam, the tunes passed down ear to ear. Look one up, make the chart your own, write your own songs, build a set, and print a real songbook to pass around the circle. Free to use. Printing a finished songbook costs a credit.
Quick start: tap a song to read its chart. ♭/♯ change the key. ✏️ Edit fixes the chords or adds your own words. + New song writes your own. Songbook… prints the book.
+ New song (in the Library): write the words with the chords sitting right above them, build a chord chart, or do both. It saves to your library and prints in your book like any other tune.
Share a song: open a song, tap ⋯, then 🔗 Share this song. The link carries the whole chart and words, so a friend who opens it gets the song added to their own library. 📋 Copy as ChordPro gives you plain text to paste into Discord or a forum. Nothing is stored on a server.
🤝 Shared set: start one from your setlist and send the link. Everyone can add songs all week (with their name on each), and nobody can remove anyone else's. Later, tap “Make it my setlist”, tidy it up, and print.
Printing: Songbook Studio has 10 book styles, page numbers and contents, cover images, your own text pages, compact two-up, a Nashville-numbers edition, and a fold-in-half A5 booklet. 🗂 Gig card prints the one-page setlist. 🌐 Web folio publishes the whole book at a link anyone can read.
Handy: ♭/♯ change key (tap the key to go home). ⛶ Full screen for reading at the jam. 🌙 Night for dim porches.
Keyboard: / search, Enter adds the top match, n/p next or previous song, v cycles the views.

Backup your work: keep a file of everything (setlists, charts, lyrics, settings) with Download backup, or bring it back with Load backup. Handy with no account, or to move between devices. Signing in also keeps it in the cloud.
is a shared set. Everyone with the link builds it together.
Cover, note and contents stay up front; index and back cover stay at the back. Reorder the middle, or slip in pages of your own.
A page of plain text set in the book's style: the story of the jam, thank-yous, house rules. A blank line starts a new paragraph.
A setlist file is one small file (its name ends in .setlist.json) that holds this whole set: the songs, your own charts and lyrics, the keys, and the page setup. Keep it as a backup, or send it to a friend so they can open it here. To back up everything at once instead, use ? → Download backup.
Look up the tunes, build tonight's set, pass it round the circle. When it's sitting right in the pocket, make it real: a proper printed book every picker can hold.
